So you want to improve your French?

Don't be Emily in Paris!

Our B1 course is designed to get you ready for the official DELF B1 exam. To sit a B1 exam, it is understood that a learner has to invest about 150 hours of studies. Traditionally, it is understood that the first level (A1) requires 60 hours of learning. For the second level (A2), you are expected to spend 120 hours learning and preparing. So, all in all, the sum of work invested in a B1 exam is evaluated to be around 330 hours.

B1 is the level where a learner is "getting by". At this point the students of French are able to give their opinion on topics, with the proper exposition of their train of thought. They are understood by French natives without much difficulties, and will be able to solve issues that might arise when traveling or living in a French-speaking region.

They will also be able to write a personal letter, to call on the phone, to sum up a situation, to watch a movie and exchange simple ideas on the topic of the film.

Our course will prepare you for all of these activities and so much more. We have prepared lessons that will transport you geographically and will make you feel like you are in the heart of everything French.

Our teachers are French native-speakers, and they will support and guide you so that you make the best out of the experience.
